Mission

Others will ask you to compromise.
Do not compromise.

Arterial was built in response to the overwhelming abundance of “AI for road infrastructure” companies, and the underwhelming impact those companies were having in the jurisdictions for which they looked to serve.

We believe this disparity is caused by compromise.

We set out to build something that did not ask agencies to compromise.

Not on refresh, not on fidelity, not on reliability, not on actionability, not on liability, and not on price.

We wanted data comprehensive enough to replace legacy alternatives, current enough to inform the day-to-day, and affordable enough that you never have to choose between finding a pothole and filling it.

And we’d like to think we built exactly that.

Competitor
  • Refresh

Average 70% jurisdictional coverage every 6 months, all intentional driving.

  • Fidelity

An image, type, and location to within 10 meters.

  • Reliability

Average 6-8hrs/week of data refinement from your staff.

  • Actionability

An unfilterable map of every problem you could theoretically solve.

  • Signal

An undifferentiated queue of everything at once.

Arterial
  • Refresh

Passive ~80% jurisdictional coverage every 2 weeks.

  • Fidelity

Survey-grade 3D measurement on every item.

  • Reliability

99.7% record accuracy, no manual review needed.

  • Actionability

Records ranked by urgency according to your standards.

  • Signal

Ranked to your crews’ capacity, worst first.

Drag to compare

Purpose sits at the helm of our ship.

Not to replace the people who keep our communities running, but to ensure their time is spent doing the work only they can do.

Commitments

Three lines
we will not cross.

Not values we aspire to. Constraints built into the product and written into the contract, each one pointing at the clause that binds us to it.

We will never decide for you.

We rank and recommend. You decide what moves forward.

How prioritization works

We will never lock you in.

Your imagery, detections, enrichment, and history are yours.

Data ownership

We will never add people to the dataset.

People, vehicles, pets, and plates are removed at detection and never stored.

Privacy commitments

Purpose

Arterial exists to create meaningful change for some of the most underserved workforces in the world, not to profit from their constraints.

Honesty

We will be the first to tell you when Arterial is not the right fit. If we ask for your limited time and resources, we will be confident that it is justified.

Voice

We are tech guys. We do not build roads. You know what good looks like, and we build what our cities want.

Resourcefulness

Both founders are college dropouts. Credentials do not matter here. We value those who question constraints, learn fast, and create opportunity where others see none.

Authenticity

We do not pretend to know what we do not. We show up as ourselves, speak plainly, and let our work earn trust.
